Our Client
Our client is an instantly recognisable name in the Mechanical Services and HVAC industry. With offices all over the country and a tried and tested internal promotions policy, they are a company that any Sales Engineer should have on their list of preferred employers. Due to well structured and achievable growth plans being implemented from March and for the rest of 2010 we are looking for a proven sales engineer in Sydney to join their ranks ASAP.
The Role on Offer
Reporting to the National Sales Manager and with excellent career opportunities, your role will be to drive sales to new customers and build strong relationships with existing customers in the NSW territory. As mentioned this is a newly created role and this provides ample opportunity for you to reach your sales targets. As a company like this are committed to staff development and along with structured career plans, you can be assured your skills will be developed in this role. You will be targeting businesses in the Commerical building, Education, Health, Retail, Industrial, transport, mining, residential and recreational business sectors - few sales people have that diversity in clients to approach. You will be selling multiyear service contracts for both break ⁄ fix and preventative maintenance work.
Remunueration for this role will be discussed with relevant candidates however the package will include:
- Generous Base Salary and Super
- Car Allowance worth $18K
- Commission plan
- Tools of trade - Phone Lap top etc
Selection Criteria
To be successful in your application for this role you must possess:
- Previous sales experience in a corporate environment delivering multiple products and services
- The ideal candidate will possess mechanical service contract sales experience
- You will be self motivated, have excellent interpersonal skills and a \'can do\' attitude
- You are able to identify and qualify a sales pipeline and provide accurate sales forecast to management
- You are able to work autonomously and can deal effectively with senior managers
- You have an excellent understanding of business and financial principles
